ODC is primarily offshore model with an anchoring at Onsite. The anchoring is performed via the onsite coordinator providing connection for work definition packaging, high level discussion, progress monitoring, review communications, urgent escalation acceptance processing.

The detailed design, specification preparation, code development, unit integration testing, project management, quality assurance deliverable processing is done at offshore.

Normally, the engagement can start with a team of 3 to 4 scales up to grow to the size of 15+ over the period of 1 year. The major milestone phases in the ODC practice are:
